Pearl Jam - Backspacer (2009) Review

after 6 long years PEARL JAM IS BACK!....with a happy album? odd i know but hey, this new direction works for me. this is some of the best 36 minutes of Pearl Jam music they have released to date. the album goes by you fast at supersonic speed (pun intended!) as the Seattle grungers play furious, slow it down and mix it all back up again. Eddie Vedder's lyrics and voice are in top shape, Mike and Stone whail away on guitar, while Jeff and Matt keep the backbeat of this amazing band pounding loud and proud! stand out tracks include "Gonna See My Friend", "The Fixer", "Johnny Guitar", "Just Breathe", "Amongst the Waves", "Supersonic", "Force of Nature" and "The End". as for my ratting? 9 avacados out of 10 cause for me 36 minutes is just not enough although it is very true when they say that quality beats quanitity...especially in a day and age when alot of artists are jamming albums with filler just so they can fill the full 80 minutes...or get close enough that is
