Wednesday 13 – Fuck it! We’ll do it Live (2008) Review

Everything you could ever expect from a punk rock show. This CD/DVD package chronicles Wednesday’s skeleton’s tour stop in Pennsylvania. Here is what to expect, little props, kick ass show, voice crackling, some wrong chords, fans and band going insane and oh! NO STUDIO “MAGIC”! This is as live as it gets, as close to the actual thing and trust me, it’s worth it. Mostly playing material off of his solo albums with the excepting of “197666” & “Rambo”, he shies away from his days of the Muderdolls and FDQFP13 (although the former’s songs were mostly reimaging of FDQFP13 songs). I like how he solidifies to his fan base that he is a solo artist who does not rely on his back catalogue from his past bands unlike some solo artists who play little to no solo material and do not distance themselves from their previous projects. Both the DVD and CD are RAW hard hitting pieces of material both worth the price on their own. Get them together and they are more than worth the price. As for a ratting? Hmmmm, how about 8 skeletons out of 10 as a longer set list with more material from the first 2 albums would have been awesome.
