My Name is Bruce (2008) Review

that's right folks! b-movie mega star Bruce Campbell vs.... the Chinese protector of bean cured named Gwandi? well! this movie is simply put, groovy! everything one loves about a Bruce Campbell film with many shutouts to his previous movies as he reprises a role as ... wait for it...himself! to fight off an evil spirit in the woods (sound familiar to anyone?). helping him is an die hard uber fan and his mom (yes, a mom and son!). he runs scared, guns everywhere, and a few shutouts to the Evil Dead movies (like the chainsaw) and you have his best movie in a long time imo. this a role i think that suits him best, sure it could be typecasting cause it is similar to that of Ash in Evil Dead but who cares? it's Bruce Campbell! he made that fuck'n role! so everyone sit back, grab this flick and have some good laughs with the man, cause good, bad, he's the man with the gun!...and some dynamite! oh! i almost forgot a ratting, how dare i! i give it 9 evil spirits living in the woods out of 10 cause i wish the movie was a little longer but the alternate endings sure as hell make up for it baby!
