Rant #20 - Fashion

recently at work i over heard some people talking about fashion and what they deemed to be "rocker" fashion...where the fuck do they come up with this shit! what the fuck is "rocker" fashion? jeans and a t-shirt? piercings? chains? flannel? like what the fuck! i hate when people label shit (that will be discussed in another rant) and when they associate labels with the way you dress! NO ONE and i stress that NO ONE dresses the same, even though people may have the same cloths, everyone has a style of their own! sorry for some of you to hear that but we all know what works for ourselves. sure we see something we like and we simulate it but we also have a way of taking that look and making it somewhat, our own. some people have a simple style, some have a complicated style, some just wear whatever the fuck is clean and doesn't smell! i fall into those of the former in that my style is simple and the later in that i really don't care, i don't spend FOREVER figuring out what to wear cause i know what works for me. some people over complicate their style because they want to fit in or make it with the group of cool kids who dress like the famous people and thus, try not to have their own style. they work hard to not have their own style! that is sad cause they just become soulless puppets to a lifestyle that they will pour money into because they are told they have to buy into it if they want to fit in. does it really matter if you fit in or not? honestly! i see women in their 40s, 50s and even their 60s trying to fit in...GIVE IT UP! just be yourselves and be happy instead of being unhappy trying to fulfill some false lifestyle that will do more to depress you than cause you any good, and that's my rant on fashion.
